Since 2006, URB has been a leader in field research in Bangladesh. URB’s ongoing investment in the community through clinic services and community health education has helped to establish trust between staff researchers and cohort participants spanning three generations.

URB Programs

Training

• URB organizes short courses on epidemiology, biostatistics, research methodology, manuscript and proposal writing based on local need, jointly with national and international educational institutions
• As a partner for the Bangladesh Center for Global Environmental and Occupational Health, URB contributes to national trainings for public health professionals and clinicians
  

Conferences and Seminars

• Conferences jointly organized with international and national organizations
• URB organizes national and international meetings/conferences on relevant topics, as well as dissemination seminars to promulgate research findings to local and international stakeholders.
